Headed there for the first time this weekend. Any advice on where to stay or avoid? Is it full of stumps like Fork and I need to watch where I'm going?
Thanks

Some people say run the down the middle some say dont. Nothing really marked. Ive stayed down the middle with trees around 100 yards to both sides and ive been fine. It's a scary lake if you dont know it... I've seen a few boats bang on plane. Be careful out there!

Keep this in mind ... Every point has trees on it. Run into coves in the middle of them. I cringe when I run the lake, still

Been learning the lake myself lately. I spend a lot of time idling in areas I'm not sure about. Just when I think its safe to go on plane, I see another stump just below the water. All comments above should be heeded. I also use the waypoints posted by Randy Harrell. They are great for navigating the main lake.
