43 lbs.
Caught at Lake O.H. Ivie on a trot line using live perch for bait.
I was with my Dad and Uncle.
The line was hung on a submerged tree. We pulled and pulled on line.
Did not know we had a fish on for a while. We were trying to break it off and salvage what hooks and line we could. It would not break and we kept messing with it. Finally worked it loose a little and could feel a good fish on. Eventually got it free and seen this big dude.
It thrashed around splashing everywhere and pulling like crazy. It took us several tries to finally get it netted.
It was pretty exciting.

That explains the happy look on your face. I bet it was very tense for a few minutes, and it all happened with the Dad and Uncle. Great story and a heck of a fish. Thanks for sharing.
