Like someone else mentioned, I have caught more fish this year than I can remember, but most have been dinks, less than 9 inches. We had a great spawn this year with warm temps at the start of the year, making the early bird spawners spawn first, then it seemed winter was a month late. Warm temps returned and all the other bass spawned combined with rain. This year was one of those rare years. Usually you will see yearlings pretty close in size, maybe varying in length by an inch or two. But this year yearlings are scattered from one inch size to 7-9 inch size. Again our odd weather made this happen. One of my local lakes near where I live had early spawners by early Feb cause it was so warm. Then it got cold and shut down and once it warmed up again all your normal routine bass did their thing. Will make for some interesting fishing here in three or four years

RangerBass21, I was out on Ray Roberts today and caught a bream on my Carolina rig in 20 ft of water.. The hook went through his belly just above his bottom fins.
He was only about half as big as the whopper you caught. Congratulations buddy!!!!!
