Hey fishingaddict, In my excitement I didn't get a measurement or a weight on the crappie. I'm still kicking myself over that one. It was the biggest crappie I have ever seen though.

Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

How could you land a porpoise on trout gear??? Was he sick? Was he alive when you caught him? I hooked a porpoise on a 4W and the porpoise spooled it with the drag locked down and 45lb braid. The reel put out over 25lbs of drag and the porpoise had no problem raping me in a matter of seconds. He was caught on a whiting. Also, I know whom ever was dropping the pier net, didnt expect to be able to pull up the porpoise???? Small net for such a big fish. Wild pic and thanks for posting.
