12lb big game, mcoys mean green, just stay away from 20lb big game, stuff has too much memory, after awhile starts getting hard and start back lashing like nobody's business

Mcoys or izorline. Both are high quality copolymer. Honestly i like braid on buzzbaits and spooks.

I like Original Stren in 25#. This is what I use on my Spooks. It has very few Polymers, which are additives like abrasion resistance and etc.. Mono. lines that are full of these additives will not float as well.

I've been hearing that Gliss line is the next big thing... I read up on it and it looks like it might take the place of mono for myself.

Thanks Bobby 15 lb Trilene Big Game is a good inexpensive line option, if there is not very much hard cover to get hung up on I recommend 12 lb line so that you can also use the same reel for smaller topwaters. I also really like 20 lb braided line for buzzbaits, frogs, and other topwaters. The thinner diameter braid allows for longer casts and more natural action with poppers and walking style topwaters, just make sure to loosen your drag a bit since you have zero stretch, especially when using topwater baits with treble hooks.

Like Mr. Harper, I prefer original Stren blue, but in 17# - 20# in thicker cover. I like braid for buzz baits, but usually use mono anyway.

15lb big game is what I use for buzz baits and spooks.
