This afternoon tested my ability to adapt. It is obvious that my cache of fish has begun to transition. Water temp fluctuated between 84 and 87. I spent a lot of time covering water and marking way points. On the few stops I made, it was about patience and attention to detail. My fish came on square bills and shakey heads. All areas seemed to be secondary or minor points. The depth didnt seem to vary much from normal, the location instead being the variable. In stained water, I used a crank bait accented by blues and greens. In slightly clearer water, I preferred an off- white color scheme. As for the shakey head, green pumpkin was the go-to, while a purple hue seemed best in deeper, stained water or low light conditions.

"On the 8th day, God created the DALLAS COWBOYS" Real men love Jesus, don't wear scarves, pop their gum, or use an umbrella....IMO
