Went to do a lil crappie fishing during the rain to see how the bite would be! It was slow, with dink after dink! I saw a few guys standing in the rain steady moving an baiting hooks! I see an older guy take a nice size gill off so I vontinue fishing an look back up to see him taking off another fish! Alright, enough is enough! Crappie are slow so let me go see what all the "action" is about! I look up an it's Smithaven givin those big boys the blues!!! I put up my crappie pole am pull out my ultra light...Put on a handtied gill buster tipped with a worm and it was back to back from there!
Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!

Awesome read "AJ"!  Yes Sir that "Smithaven" has caught his share of Gills over the years for sure.
