My brother and I are taking my boat (16 ft canoe with outboard and trolling motor.)to Toledo Bend and fishing / staying at Paradise Cove. Any news on the fishing, our plan is to fish the lily pads with frogs, worms etc. Really just explore since it will be our first time there.

Just be real careful of the wind. That place can get rough in a hurry. Huge lake with a lot of open water areas that get some big rollers going.

Thanks for the reply. We are experienced in rough waters and rivers, but will take care and stay close to the bank.

You would have to be brave going in the main lake in a canoe on Toledo on a bad day I dont care how experienced you are you will sink a canoe I promise.
