Took these pics this morning at Dallas Caddo Club (near Johnson's Ranch marina - Uncertain, TX).

The first pic shows a long shot of the pier with the water almost over the "floor" - you can just make out a white board attached vertically to the near corner of the pier.

The second pic shows that white board close-up - it's the flood gauge. The NWS projects that the water will hit 175' sometime Saturday, which will put the water above the handrails of the pier.

Yep, its looks like CADDO! I have not been there in several years. My uncle fishes it a couple times per year. He lives in Kilgore. Its GREAT, that it is FULL! Most lakes in DEEP E TEXAS, are getting full. Spring will be here soon!

Pines was so low to start with, that they have so far not released ANY water on to Caddo - all of our rise is coming down the Little Cypress and other tributaries...If Pines gets high enough that they have to release water, the water level on Caddo will just get higher...

TBendTexasSide I'm with you, I can't wait for spring. I went to lake dixon last week in California & got on some spawning bass and now I'm totally jonesing...

Seriously, it's an issue, trouble concentrating at work, pouring over maps at home, making sure the reels will be cleaned in time. I've got to see about making a platform on the front of the boat this year out of PVC & ply wood.
