Ray Hubbard's River today was a dink fest.
After making the hard left hand turn past the opening on the right, dinks were everywhere. Throwing small soft plastics to the shady side of the river, got thumped on nearly every cast. Nothing larger than 8 inches. Must have been one heck of a spawn this year.
The lake is 2.17 lower than pool.
Between the cut and the river the water level is 2.6, stick ups everywhere.
Millions of Dragonfly's and several Copperheads.
A small kid would have a blast up in there now trying to catch those those small fish.
Small hook, was throwing a watermelon grub with the tail dipped, partner was throwing Baby BH same color and tail dipped.

I can catch dinks in the local pond. Not worth the gas money or risks to run up there yet
