Looking to construct a new gigging light to use while wading. I currently use a light that uses a car headlight, but would like to try LED's to conserve power. Any ideas or suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks,
T-bird

I use my LED dive lites. I use them for nite diving as well. I get the C batteries from the Dollar store in Friendswood. 4 batteries for $1.00. 4 will run the LED lite all nite. I get my dive lites from <LeisurePro.com>. They run about $50.00 each. I cut a flat side on the end of a PVC pipe and drill it to match holes in the handle of the lite. I zip tie the dive lite handle to the PVC pipe. This rig is very light weight and easy to handle. The only thing I drag is a striger of flounder. No more car battery in an innertube.
I have a flounder boat with an array of 12 volt halogen lites for when I am not walking.
