This is my first attempt at a Zebra Midge. Tied on a size 12 scud. We are headed to Lake Taneycomo in a few weeks. What other pattern/sizes would you recommend?

I tie mine on 14,16 & 18 I also use Hard as Hull cement on the whole thing makes everything shiny and more durable.. Steve-stabgnid

sz 16-20 Scuds in tan or gray work pretty well up there.

Def use hard as hull or hard as nails on those flies it will make them look more realistic and keep them from unravleing as quick when you start catching all those fish. I also agree that you should carry some smaller versions, down to 18 maybe 20.

All mine are 18 and 20. I use Sally Hansen on mine also.
