I do not see a problem with fish. The commercial clearly is not wanting us to eat Joaquin Pheonix. I would definitely throw him back.

Joaquin Phoenix and his family was a member of the Children of God cult at one time. This is the same cult that recommended strongly that the parents should have sex with their children from the time they're infants on. This is the type of people that PETA attracts and if they're exposed for what they are then they might just go away. Look up both groups and you should be able to find out more about them. Confront them with the info and most of the members have no clue about those "other members" that they're involved with.

PETA thinks chicken, beef and pork just magically appears at the supermarket.

I don't mind personal opinion but close-minded, ignorant people irritate me.
Obviously, these people need to try a spicy tuna roll.

I'm sure (in my cynical mind) that the developers were less concerned about creating a real aquatic habitat that could sustain an ecosystem than selling "waterfront" plots of land for inflated prices. I've never snuck in to fish their ponds, but I've always wondered if there was a population of bass in there. Based on what you just said, I would think the answer is no... Why do these people keep on thinking that dumping destructive, invasive grass carp in our waterways is a great idea? Well...I work for these folks, and hate to agree, but something 'bout a shoe and how it fits.... Actually some of the lakes have a good fish population. I learned almost as much talking to a teenager who loves to fish the lakes as I did electrofishing. He had pics of nice bass, crappie, catfish, big carp, gar, and sunfish he and his buddies had caught all over the subdivision. A pretty good indicator is the water itself. If its chocolate milk muddy, likely not the best spot for bass, but the lakes that are clear and green do have some nice bass in them. The "grass carp/catfish" stocking mix is one of the common methods "biologists" (lake management companies) make a lot of money. They charge monthly for maintenance, but if enough carp and catfish in a lake there are no weeds and not much work needing done (more profits). Trying to establish and manage a bass population is expensive and difficult and is almost never part of the plan or goals for such a water body. Don't get me wrong, grass carp have their place in fisheries management, so do catfish, but that place should be determined on a case by case, not a "one size fits all" management plan. Now, when I look at those $$million+$$ homes side by side on a shallow, narrow, muddy "lake," where you can see your neighbors "doin' it" through the window, and the trees in the yard are no bigger 'round than my....thumb and still a long, difficult drive into town to work, why in the aych ee double hockeysticks would anybody want to live there? I ain't got no money, but I do have my own "waterfront" place I intend to build my dreamhome (someday), 2.5 wooded acres on the fresh part of Chocolate Bayou, which I paid less than a third what one of those gazillionaire lots of less than one acre costs. Yeah I may be swattin' skeeters, but I ain't able to see the neighbors doin' it through the window....Plus ain't no PETA idiots to contend with.

P.E.T.A. - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, except cats and most dogs. In 2014, PETA took in 1,605 cats at its Virginia headquarters and killed 1,536 (a kill rate of 96%). They transferred another 43 to kill shelters where they were either killed or displaced others who were killed. That would put the cat kill rate as high as 98%. They found homes for only 16, an adoption rate of 1%. The greater majority, 80%-90%, of these cases were within 24 hrs. After reviewing two months worth of records, Kovich found that 245 of the 290 animals84 percentthat PETA took into custody were killed within 24 hours. Only 17 were reported as adopted or in foster homes. Kovich noted that PETAs shelter did not meet PETAs own published guidelines for operating a humane animal shelter. https://www.petakillsanimals.com/proof-peta-kills/#virginia_investigatesIn contrast, the Lynchburg Humane Society, also in Virginia, took in about the same number of animals as PETA but saved 94% and without PETAs millions. Seagoville Animal Services in Texas took in 1/3 of the numbers (about 700 animals) but only 1/20th of 1% of the amount of money that PETA did, saving 99% of them on a paltry $29,700 budget. https://www.facebook.com/nathanwinograd/posts/920418231315755P.E.T.A. - People for the Extinction and Termination of Animals!

PETA is full of idiots and lunatics. They where protesting outside a large hunting and fishing show I was working some years ago. Decided to talk to some of the young college girls there about managing deer to prevent disease, road accidents and starvation. None of them had any resemblance of an answer to what I was saying yet continued to protest for three days

I was down to the Galleria at Christmastime with my daughter. Outside were a buncha petanuts carrying signs with dead and skinned coyotes on them.
I stopped and pointed to the sign and asked one of them, "Is the pit ready? I'm gettin' hungry an' that piece of meat looks like it'd cook up real good."

I knew someone who was into that mess. Their big sales pitch is "OH, IF YOU WOULD JUST WATCH THE VIDEO". Apparently they have some BS recruiting video that hooks all of these mindless peoples.

These people, PETA, will lie, cheat, steal, and do all they can, legal, moral, or not, to forward their twisted agenda.
Dang !! That sounds like our current president and his administration. Wonder if there is any connection between the two ?? -- LOL

I have an idea Gavin; Lets have PETA do some mission work on the Serengeti in Africa. If they can convince the Lions to stop eating Gazelles and sit down and have a talk with the Hyena's. If they make it back, I will stop hunting and fishing! Deal?
