I have a 898 SI and this weekend the left side was just black. I switched to left side full screen and it was all black. Powered down and back up and no change. I'm guessing it's the transducer, though disappointed if so since the unit does not get that much use. Anybody seen this before? Was going to try my head unit on a friends boat and his unit(998)on mine.

Yes, it seems the left side crystal is the one that fails the most.
