i have just recieved my reel from bps it's pretty much the same size as my 6500c'3.have any of you guy's used this reel? will be testing it out this weekend and trying her out.the one thing i have noticed is a very weak bait alarm mechanism.spooled it with 20# hi vis green big game and was casting with a bigwater mh 7'rod in an open feild and it cast pretty smooth.any other pro's and con's about this reel would be apreciated.

I have one that I bought 2 or 3 years ago and I have not had any problems with it whatsoever. I paid $30.00 for it and I have definately gotten my monies worth out of it.

well got to use the reel this weekend down in port aransas worked good for the first hour or so then it started to make a few noises when it was being cast.rinsed with fresh water back at the hotel opened the side face to notice the baitclicker was engaged even in the off position.tried a little adjustment's but still wouldn't fix also set drag to full on and my 1/2oz weight dropped to the floor fast and also backlashed my reel.sent it back to bps today hopefully just a bad one out of a bunch.will post on the response i get from them.
