I live below the dam on fort parker a lot of gar been catching a lot of 5 and 6 inch channels on little stinker no keepers

Before they dredged the lake, it was full of channelcat. The shoreline opposite of the river mouth is rocky and used to always have fish. Take some good stinkbait and tear them up. If you go up the river. There is an old dam that nearly always held fish around it.
