Been super busy so haven't been out since she reopened. Went out for a few hours the other night and had two bites to show for it. Definitely big changes since the fill up and draw down! Found tons of pirch feeding on bugs in the flooded weeds but no bass. Pulled out deeper didn't see squat on the graphs and no bites on humps points etc. Got one black flipping shallow junk and a smallie that I lost on a shakey head up behind Morgan point marina.

Anyone else doing worth a dang?

I launched(kayak)last Friday from Rogers Park and fished from 1830 - 2130 with zero bites. Buddy caught a very small white but that was it. Not even a nibble.

It's been brutal on Belton and Stillhouse all summer.

Caught one keeper white at the cross from Morgan's Point resort Marina last Saturday Morning.

Ouch maybe when they stop releasing things will get a bit more stable out there.

Night time Smallies hahaha

^^^^^^What he said. Went out last night and found smallies dragging a crankbait on rocky bottom.

We have not had a decent spawn in several years it the worst I seen it In fact I 've been releasing everything I catch and with the zebra mussels it really aint looking good

Hit it again Last night caught some smallies then stuck a 38 pound flathead on a football jig on a medium heavy rod lol. Seems to be picking up a bit.

Lake Belton Fishing Report

I wish I would have done that tonight instead of going to SH.

We've been doing okay on the whites and hybrids. 30 or so fish for a couple hours out. Bite seems to be before 09:00 and after 16:00.
