I fished Palestine last week and the fishing was decent.Caught a few on dropshot in the 2.5lb range and 1 that would've went 4lb's on a crankbait,other than that a lot of small ones.Some areas have sand bass and largemouth mixed schooling in the evenings.
Lots of fish on the ledges and main lake points,especially the ones with grass,rock or timber as these are the ones that hold shad and bass. Lake levels are about 1 ft below normal pool,other than that the lakes in great condition. Good luck

Went the other day put in at the dam deep boat house with chatter baits biggest was 5lbs rest wur 2-3lb range boated 14
