im going to need new steering cables on my old Ranger 373v. getting very stiff to turn.any good mechanic's in Lewisville/Grapevine area ?

J Wade Marine on here did mine and did a great job at a reasonable price and I had my boat back in two days. I had to take my boat to him in Rockwall but for the money he charged, it was worth it.

Take a good look at the hydraulic option. It is sure nice to have that ease of control.

Take a good look at the hydraulic option. It is sure nice to have that ease of control. This^. Installed it myself about 2 years ago and had no issues.

You may only need one if you can find them. Probably a 10' Morse. I have a 375V and have replaced both but only one at a time. I do not remember how I determined which one was bad. The bad one may have broke completely before I replaced it. I would start with the one that has the biggest bend. I have a jack plate on mine so the cables are not hard to replace. The worst part is crawling under the dash.
