Upgraded the electronics on my boat to Hummingbird Onix this past weekend and went out with Slade for a quick fine tune yesterday morning. We only took one snapshot while we were testing all the settings out. Hopefully I can get more this week on Pines. A big thanks to Slade for lining up the install at Sartin Marine in Yantis. Brian Sartin does a great job installing electronics. Thanks to Slade for working me into his busy schedule and getting these new Onix dialed in. I will be posting my Core Hummingbird units for sale shortly. If anyone here in the Crappie forum is interested in an 1198c SI, 998c HD SI or 798i SI, let me know. This is a snapshot of a wad of fish and baitfish on top of a hump in 34' of water on Lake Fork.

I was out with Slade yesterday from 8:00 till about 10:30 having my 998 and 898 dialed in. They really pop now! Awesome job by Slade! Money well spent. Didn't take an SD card with me for a screen shot, but saw some awesome shots. Will feel confident using Down and Side Imaging now. Thanks again Slade.

Slade hopped in my boat right after you finished up. We were already on the lake playing with the new units. Slade's the electronic guru for sure. And one nice gentleman to boot! about 330 Sat afternoon, he was actually trying to get in the boat and looked like the boat moved..
I was in the parking lot and Slade was positioning the boat, looked like he stepped toward the boat and
splash,..I took off toward him and he was pulling his self back up on the floating dock,..looked like all was well,..just wet.

Sure glad it wasn't me. That would have been a very expensive dip. My hearing aides don't play well with water! Have to be extra careful boarding and un-boarding.
