I use it on all my spinning reels and love it ,the only problem I have is finding it in high vis, also the high vis. fades in about 3-4 months,I have some reels with smoke colored line that has been on there for 3 or 4 years and still lays out nice and will pull a jig out of a brush pile like it did when it was new,the line has payed for itself many times over in the number of roadrunners I have saved.

I've been using Fireline (6 Lb test) on my micro spinning rigs for crappie and sandbass for about 5 or 6 years. I really love the "no stretch" factor. Just a flick of the rest and you get a good hookset. I've really gotten to where I hate the spongy hookset you get on light mono.

I tried it once...it didn't take me long to realize it's not for me. I switched to the P-Line braid and McCoy's Braid.

Depends on the application......I'm with Skeeter 175 as far as use in spinning applications. I actually use the 20/8 and the 30/12 for bass applications when clear water is not an issue. Outstanding performance on a spinning reel (because of no memory and the strength to diameter ratio + the other good propoerties associated with the superlines). I don't like it on casting reels but know some folks who do.
For casting applications if I want a superline I'll go with braid or no stretch / low vis I'll use the flurocarbons/hybrids.
