Okay, well since the pilot is okay: New structure on Joe Pool, Too bad they'll remove it.

These guys in their experimental/home-made aircraft definitely have a death wish!

Why was homemade experimental aircraft allowed to fly north from Midlothian to a heavily populated area?

The pilot forgot to raise the landing gear before attempting a water landing which was his intention, this is a no-no for sea planes as the wheels dont roll very well on water and tend to act as brakes as soon as they touch the surface of said water.

great as if our lakes arent crowded enough. so now i have to look out for experimental amphibious airplanes. hope this doesnt turn into a fad like jet ski's, hate to be running across the lake and see a flight of these things piloted by 12 year olds bearing down on me so they can jump my wake. wonder how many horsepower that thing was?
