Anyone needing a decent spinning reel can get a Okuma 30A Avenger at Academy for $7.98 This is a medium size spinning reel that they typically sell for $35. Only the small 15A version was not on clearance. I you need a decent spinning reel for little cash this is a great bargain. The Mesquite TX store had around 15 reels in stock as of today.

That's a good price!
I've fallen in love with the cheap little Diawa D Spin 500B !!!!! I ordered 2 when I saw someone, jpenwell I believe, post about them. I just ordered 2 more for $11.55 each, with shipping the total was $33.79 I'm taking Pflueger's off and replacing them.......Not that they're used up, but the others are so LIGHT. The frames do not flex like the other cheap reels I have and the drag is relatively smooth, but will back off after a couple of drag slipping fights and needs to be re-adjusted. I use braid and my drag is set very loose as to not break my leader on the hookset.
Sorry, didn't mean to steal the post, just sharing

Arlington says they're out too. I love that reel even though I had one break apart when I was fighting what I believe was a pretty large bass.

I went to the one in Grapevine. They didn't have any. It doesn't mean I didn't buy another reel. I just didn't get that particular one. Thanks for the heads up.

Not yet. Came home and hid them from the wife until later.
