Agree, if it's priced right, any time would be a good time.

Some like to purchase a boat in the fall, so they can work on it over the winter.

Fall is the best weather in this part of the country to be working outside cleaning, painting, working on electrical/working on plumbing/working on a motor.

TxAg, I think this is good advice, you never know until you try. I just listed my Skeeter to see if anyone is interested. You may as well, just to see. Can't hurt and people are always looking.

Yeah, I may drag it out of the garage and snap some pics tomorrow. Guess I don't have to sell it even if I post it if I don't like what I see. I want this boat to go to a good home if I let it go.

What model is it? And what motor?

I say just list it! If other buyers are anything like me, they know what they want and will keep checking every source out there until they find it. Every boat I have ever bought I have ben extremely patient in buying, and I've been very happy with my boats.

People do like Champs, but the other side of that is that they don't make them anymore. If you're realistic about your price (most are not) and have thick skin you will be fine. Not the best time to sell a bait and about to be the worst time to sell a boat. There are always buyers out there.

In my experience, the people looking to buy a boat this time of year are the folks looking for a deal. You can definitely sell it this time of year, but it will have to be priced lower than if you find someone looking around in the spring with fresh tax refund money in their pocket and no Christmas gifts to buy anytime soon.

It's really according to who you ask, thought to me they seem cheaper this time of year just because the demand is not so strong as it is in the spring......I did buy my last new rig about this time of year during model year change and got a heck of a deal......
