Going to fish the river tomorrow.. Putting boat in on Oklahoma side around 6a.m. have a open boat if someone wants to join me.. I know this is late notice, but p.m. your phone # and I will call you early in mourning.. Or pull up to bank, honk your horn and flash your lights and I'll come pick you up.... Went fishing Denison Dam with couple of friends today, caught lots dinks. Couple of good size fishes on top water.
I drove off the parking lot on TX side by the second stairs, leaving my rods and reels behind. Some one would find them for sure, but I may never see my rods and reels again. Big losses to me. I want to cry!

It hurts badly. I felt Brian's pain when he broke his favorite rod.
Things happen quite strangely last few days. Got a phone call this morning, learned that a friend's friend was gunned down, and her boy of 17 years old was seriously injured.

So sorry to hear about that Moon, I hope you get your rods and reels back, also hate to see bad things happened to good people, I'll pray for the boy and his family.
Just an idea, may be writing a few flyers about your lost rods and reels with your contact info and a token reward then post flyers at DD, do think that would increase your chances of getting them back?
Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.

I'm sorry to hear about your friends Moon. there's just too much evil in this world right now we need to watch out for each other. Prayers for your friends I hope the boy makes a full and speedy recovery..
I lost all my equipment a few years ago guy kicked in our garage door took 10-15 rods and reels 3 tackle boxes. Worst thing about it was my neighbor saw them walking down the street with all the equipment and don't even think about calling the cops rebuilding that was tough and took awhile..

No catfishing for me, my brother! No fun to me! When I was fishing for stripers at DD yesterday, few Chinese anglers were there secretly taking my pictures, and video taping my techniques. What a scene and compliment. You should go striper fishing with me. You make no progress last few years for striper fishing. But I have no doubt that you already became a master of cat catcher. My condolence to you Sensei. It is sad to see the type of world we are dealing with nowadays and what is ahead of us in the future. Don't know where you live, but you may want to frequent the place and look for someone fishing with them....

Moon, your assumption is by far from the truth. I have no clue what the hack i am doing. So far i have caught two gars. haven't seen nor smell the slime yet that people celebrate about! Maybe i will take a day off either on Monday and Tues just to see you and bring back the old memories. I'll see what i can do and thanks for the invitation!
