 Cedar Creek in the morning. Who's going?

I haven't had my normal luck on Hybrid at CC or RC lately. Hoping to turn that around in the a.m. Haven't seen many positive reports on them either.
Locating shad has been a problem. They haven't been in my usual spots.

Check out the hump just north of Crappie Island.... sandies and hybrids and tons of shad have been there this week.

I was going to take my dad to CC tomorrow. I heard fun and sun is having a bass tourney with about 150 boats there Sunday, They get to prefish Friday and Saturday. Not gonna fight that. Decided to go to RC. Talked with a guy that has been fishing it a lot lately. He said mostly unders with the occasional over hybrid. That's too long a trip for me for that. Will wait a week or two.

18-20 fow. Been here about 3 hours. No other boat. Slabs, mepps, little george. Fle Fly bendable minnow has been the best. Earlier it was 1-1 hybrid to sand bass. Hybrid slowed down. Fish still here but bite slowed a little.

CenTexan, where did you launch at ? Was it crowded ? I was thinking of going but the fun-n-sun crowd of bass boats scared me away. Did not want to fight that mess.

Public ramp close to Malakoff. Wasn't crowded at all.

They are still here and biting going to check some other spots. But Enchanted Isle has been good all day. If you try and sit on top of them they will move over. Not far though. Just watch your side scan and cast to them. Fle Fly with a buck tail jig 12" above has landed doubles consistently. The Hybrid loved the Fle Fly.

This morning was a mess. Large boatshow in the middle of the lake with lots of boats running big motors chasing fish. Ski boat wannabe's and and other fools chasing schooling fish in deep water. I can't wait for cold weather
