There are also several hotels in town, Best Western 361-786-2000, Bass Inn 361-786-3521 (by Nolan's Ryans resturant) and Executive Inn 361-786-3563. That should hook you up.

Best Western is the place to stay while visiting Three Rivers and fishing Choke Canyon.

Nolan Ryan no longer owns the motel down there called Bass Inn.

Thanks all for the quick response. Anyone know if the lake is still spitting out big bass?

I have to 2nd Debra's recommendation. I stayed at the Best Western during prefishing and during the BFL down there. Excellent motel and very friendly staff.

As an aside, when my wife and I went, we took our personal pillows for comfort not knowing what to expect. Upon leaving the lake late in the day, she went to grab one for the ride back. Upon realizing we'd left them in the room, she had me stop on the way back thru town. Not only did they have our pillows there, they had washed and folded the pillow cases!!! flehan flehan

Only place I'll stay when I make it back to Choke!

If you prefer a cheap place then I know just the place. South Shore is in the choke canyon park and they have cabins for 20 dollars a night! The cabins are just for a roof over your head, nothin special. But there are showers all around the park for you to clean up in. But you need to watch out for Aligators! They come out of the water at night and up close to some water front cabins so be careful.
