There has been some talk and a lot of interest for a tournament trail in Central Texas for some time now. Mark your calendars now for the 2016 Central Texas Catfish Trail. Feel free to print copies of this schedule to share with anyone you know that may be interested. Keep checking back on this thread for rules to be added in the near future as well as announcements on meetings and weigh in locations.

This should be really good for everyone in central Texas. I'm sure lots of local folks would like stay closer to home and get to experience tournament fishing on lakes they know. Good call Jerry.

Jerry is a good guy and I bet he will hold some great tournaments. Theres some good lakes on that list. I bet there will be a great turnout. I know a lot of guys that don't post on the forum will show up to fish these.

There is some good lakes, I think Richland Chambers and Waco will ether be the lowest weight win on the trail or the highest with the slot limit. Me and my son are in!

Small suggestion...... Try and see if surrounding hotels around these lakes can help give discounts to the teams that join the tourneys, would help out a lot for the out of towners, just a thought.
