We came, we slayed. 42 keepers with around 80 caught overall. This was a morning trip. Thanks again Tommy! If you haven't fished with him you should.

That's exactly right. Two of my sons are coming -- the daughter-in-law's husband and another that lives in Corpus. BTW someone is writing about that tip you showed us about the pinched head off the minnow technique! Man, you sure do know how to fish -- or should I say catch!

Thanks crappie1 for another fantastic day of fishing on Granger. Either that is a magical place or you know how to work the magic or both. I came back and cooked up a slew for the family then me and the wife ate fish the next day. Man, there ain't nothing like fresh, hot crappie fillets on your plate! I thought it was amazing that you put us on fish in hot July. Then I thought wow you put us on fish in hot August! Way to GO Boss! I guess we will see you again in September!!!

I wonder how may fish have got the scenic view on that cleaning table by Tommy.. I cant even start to guess.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

How about 4250 since April and I still have 2 more months to fish. I cleaned 3 tons of crappie there in 2007 and again in 2008. We had 80 on Saturday and 94 on Sunday. These crappie are really fat also. No skinny fish. Fishing is just getting better and will continue through mid October.
