My favorite is the original Lunker Lure buzz bait, 1/2 ounce, white.

My favorite is the original Lunker Lure buzz bait, 1/2 ounce, white. Change it to white/chartruse and I agree. Hard to improve this!

There is a guy out of Alba that is marketing baits called Southern Mayhem that makes a great Buzz bait. They carry them at Lake Fork Tackle in Emory. Also have jigs and Bladed Jigs.

The original Lunker Lure is hard to beat. It develops a good squeak over time and I have caught 8+ lb. fish on it. I usually throw black early.

I like the cavitron buzzbaits in black and solid white in 3/8 oz. Pretty standard when to throw each, cloudy overcast and or stained/murky water go with the black. Opposite conditions use the white.

Papas baits has a great buzz bait that pulls through real nice. The papas buzz also runs straight so you don't have the skirt running sideways with the bait

Lunker lure, >>>>> 1/4 oz. <<<<<< with the copper blade. White / Chartreuse or Black.
They rarely see this one so hang on.

I still like the old Mister Twister Lunker Buzz and Lunker Buzz II in both 1/2 and 1/4 oz. I still have a couple of dozen of them, and I still use and catch bass on them. To be honest, I'm not sure there is any such thing as a bad buzz bait, as long as you add a trailer hook.
