Started off well with a good morning bite, but the complete lack of clouds and east wind didn't cooperate with the lunar calendar (also saw that the outlook was good on the solar/lunar). Didn't get a bite after 11am. Stopped fishing at 1pm when it was getting hot.

I caught one dink. It was around a 1lb. At 2:20pm. Only bite. Only catch. Yep. East wind caused me issues too.

Caught a two pounder on a Frog at 7:00, and a channel cat on a pop-R. Thats it on Ray Hubbard from 6-9 this morning. Lots of shad hitting the surface, but nothing chasing them.

Had fun catching sandbass and granddaughter caught huge drum on jig deep. Lol then my partner hung big bass deep fought it right to boat before line broke! A lot of cussing and stomping lol small keepers , better bite then what's been happening .
