I wish people would take their trash with them, look at all that trash on the ground.

The water is higher than normal lately it seems. The water pouring out is making big waves that's has crashed over the wall and knocked trash cans over. You should see the other side not in the picture. Someone lit a pile of trash on fire up there

Anyone got any news on the spillway? I'm thinking about going but I don't know what to take. I saw some men catching white bass one after another and my Father asked one of them what they were using and they said "white jigs". I bought some white jigs with hairs on them instead of the rubber ones and didn't get a single bite. This was about 3 years ago. I would like to go again but don't know what to use. I usually fish with Nightcrawlers bought from Wal-Mart or sardines if there is a live bait shop.

Stay away from that place. That's a report! I've made a post about it in the Bank fishing section.
Short story: Went fishing for 2 hours, car got it's window broke into. The End.

Joe pool spillway gets a bad rap but I have had no issues there!! Its a great spot when releasing water! Find the slack water and along the outside walls and I have pulled up pigs out of there!!! Black and chartreuse 1/16th jigs are the ticket for me!!
