You can get Zofran (odansetron) for $4 at HEB pharmacies. It is a wonder drug and one that I have at my home at all times.

Any reasonable pcp will give this to you on request and long as you don't have any contraindications to taking it.

Actually staying up late and drinking works really well. The less sleep, the better. Particularly effective on hot August days with a big slow swell.

Just hope your Captain provides a complimentary lunch of fish dip and tortilla chips. And yes, I have tried this.
