I think a seriously underused bait is the craw-tube category... LFT has one, there is another I can't recall the name of that is very nice... they are supple larger profile baits, collapse easily, can be internally weighted and fished like any other tube but with a grew legitimate craw/creature profile etc... very cool stuff imo

Usually if its not a craw, worm or lizard then it goes in the creature category for me. Normally baits that don't really resemble a particular forage. Just reading through the post I noticed someone referred to a Rage Craw as a creature. To each his own if they do. Just thought it interesting.

I stand corrected. I just confirmed your math and indeed not only did I pay too much for the Biffle Bug but after receiving the Pit Boss I also slightly preferred the design... although I like it that the Bug floats...but for the price difference I'll stay with the Pit Boss.

Now if I could only break this terribly long streak of getting skunked on these west Tx lakes I might even have some evidence of which one will produce best.

Pit boss may not float but just try pitching one into openings/pockets in grass weightless, or along weedlines or docks... forget a senko! they flutter and glide so perfectly. That's the number 1 qualifier for me for baits like that is how they fall/glide really, and how they sit when they stop. The pit boss just nails it for me on every mark. I really love the design of the hook keeper as well, and they fit a 4/0 so perfect it isn't even funny. Fishs o much as swat at it and they are pinned. I even catch bluegills/random sunfish that swat at it, and some crappie, because if they touch the body at all, they are hooked. Only chance they have is ripping off an appendage. Luckily they fish almost as well with 1-2 arms ripped off, because they get wrecked from all the attention haha. I never get on the boat with less than 3 bags of my preferred colors, because when they are on them I will burn through a lot! Love how reasonably priced they are.
