Tyler---if you could ever have the privilege of learning the lake from Dennis, you would be one lucky young man.He is a true gentleman and a successful, methodical hybrid and sand bass fisherman. Besides that, he's a fellow Aggie. Have a good vacation. Jenna fishing with you?

Caught several hybrids 4lb+ fishing the point labeled L on the map. This was on Monday. Chart blue 6th sense 500 series. They liked that better then others. Could have caught more, but i was there for blacks.

I'll be out at 8am tomorrow with my neighbors. We're going north to Spillway Hump and Game Warden Hump as our starting spots. Hope to see your yellow Skeeter. Good luck!

Go out to the Key Ranch Flats at daylight and for the first 1-2 hours, sandbass and hybrids are going crazy on top. Check your catch closely. Like RL says, There are a lot of under size hybrids hitting the surface now, don't mistake them for sand bass.
