Not many bass boats out at Amistad these days due to hot weather and the slow bite. Still a great adventure and lots of water to explore with a few keeper sized fish here and there if your willing to work for them.

Honestly, the boat ramp isn't worth walking right now to me. I was there tinkering with my boat in storage the other day, thought about getting out and running the boat but couldn't justify that ____ boat ramp right now!

We fished a few weeks ago. Very slow. Even found some grass but still slow. I think we may have saw 10 boats all week there. Saw a ton of bait fish so I know they aren't starving to death. I think we are a year or 2 from this lake really turning on.

It was hot and windy and the fishing was tough. One or two every morning on a Sammy or yellow magic one or two in the evening on plastic. Maybe 4 or 5 fish over 14 inches In 3 days 3 boats
