(new record 6h, 35 min) A few nice fish were caught, but the "energy" just wasnt there this time... dont understand it yet, crew was good, lots of great marks on great spots just really couldn't get it rollin. slow pick all weekend but there will be pics forthcoming. I'll let Hefty tell his own fish story, it's pretty good bst part of the trip for me was NOT getting a ticket for 70 in a 60 by the 2 really nice Tx troopers we met in Cameron

rhamilton Green Horn R Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 6 Austin, TX	Great weather and seas but yea, the bite just wasn't on this round - blame the b****a nut muffins if you want. Hooked up with a dozen+ AJs in the 22-30 inch range on jigs but no keepers for me. Big reds were feeding well off the bottom too which was disheartening and limited where you wanted to be in the water column. Boat and crew did a great job and were working hard but it just wasn't happening. Only thing I can think of is the lack of chum to get things warmed up. Still had a great time and met a bunch of good fisherman. Other guys will have some more pics and stories to share but here is the boats haul:

Hard to get through them to even get bait. Fun trip overall with a lot of new faces. Nice seeing those folks get into a few quality fish. Here are a few of the pics I took.
