I am thinkin about getting out there for a a while. My days off fall on monday and Tuesday as usual. Both days will be cold by Texas standards. I am thinking of hitting either Riemers or Travis looking for Catfish. Anyone got any suggestions? I think Travis would be more productive on the jug lines, Riemers closes at dark so its almost a null point. So deep or shallow?

Nice Crappie you got there. If you can catch Crappie like that who cares if it's cold.

Suppose to be windy later on in the day too. So both windy and cold. Be careful out there.

Be careful and dress warm. I will be in front of the fireplace fishing on the PS2 or watching football.

i want to, the cold aint a prob, the wind mixing with it is my downfall, but i gotta get some practice with it because i know there will be a tournament this year somewhere along the lines with heavy wind, so i need to learn now instead of then

That's what's good about creeks, wind is not a factor.

Good-luck and be safe

I may have to pass up this weekend. It's snowing right now, Sunday it's not supposed to get above zero. I just don't want my lower unit cracking on the way from the lake to the garage. Anytime it's below zero, I'm hesitant to go out.
