Just started crappie fishing and would like to invest in a supply of soft baits. Would you guys care to recommend some? Bass fishing for several years and have collected several hundred baits that I have never used.
thanks

I personally make my own jig heads, so no barb..I stick to solid body stuff..Alot less slide...and they last longer for me. I really like the 1-2 inch curly tail grubs..lots of action.

If your going to fish plastics there are only two in my book

Panfish Assasion
Fin-S

colors:
Texas Avacado
Chartruse Woodpecker
Grasshopper
Electric Chicken
Tomato Seed
Spring Shad
B-52

any of these colors are a good starting place

Go to Crappie.com and order a "Bait Pump"
Use it to fill any tube jig with "crappie nibbles"
Catch fish like you were using live bait only better.

Agree, but half the fun is gradually purchasing new jigs to add to your tackle box. Before you know it, you will have so many jigs you don't know what to do.
