I'm going to jump in on this one. I've been wanting to enter a tourney since I got lucky and came home with a Hobie PA12 as my first yak..... That said this will be my first Kayak Bass Tourney. Fished in plenty of regular boat tourneys but never from a kayak using the photo and release method. I'm literally going to buy the Hawg Trough today!! Would love to camp the night before but I have a 11mo old baby girl at home and mama might get sideways if I did. I'm excited about this and looking g forward to meeting some of you guys I see posts from on here. Hopefully there will be some hungry toads out there!!!

If I use my iPhone to take pics of the fish as opposed to using a digital camera which I could remove an SD Card from to submit at weigh in.... Is there anything I need to be prepared for in order to submit the pics? Do I need to download a time stamp app or anything of that nature?

Phone are digital camera works for this tourney! they will give you some kind of identifier for the day of the tournament that has to be in each photo you take! Take plenty of pics. per fish. The judge has to be able to see fishes mouth against hog trough ,tail and identifier all in same photo! For this tourney its mouth open or closed! Welcome and look forward to meeting you Saturday!

I'm trying to decide between leaving early in the morning are driving over and trying to sleep in truck! Ugh

Just layed down in bed at Chaney point rv park after drinking a few drinks on the dock. It's almost like Christmas Eve eve. I can't sleep knowing that lake fork is a stones throw from my bed. Can't wait to meet some new yakers and (hopefully) catch some big fish. See yall Saturday morning!
