The forecast is, it's going to be hot. They must be talking about the bite, right?  I may have to see if their prediction is correct.

Yesterday morning the fish on brush were very cooperative in 12-20ft. Not quite the caliber of fish that you usually catch, but it was nice to feel them really thump the jig again.

It's so hot........... I went back to the "camper traila" after fishing a while and it was 82 degrees in there and it felt so good!

It's wasn't so bad out there with the wind and the bite was tricky. Saw a heck of a lot more then we caught.
Sour plums, they were.

wow. Last time I went to fork it was hot and miserable even in the shade under the bridge.

It's hot, but the wind helps!!! And what's up with this wind, I remember begging for a breeze this time of year, now I'm looking at the forecast and seeing if will be calm enough to fish

Dog days of summer. got to love it
Yes sir it was a dog of a day. I fished with �The Man� yesterday, the conditions had changed from last week and so did the crappie or was it �Crappie Just Being Crappie�? Finding and catching crappie was easy as it gets last couple of week, the water temp yesterday was a cool 89 degrees and down from previous 91 degrees. Inch long shad in big pods were easily seen on the surface along with bait balls in the water column in weeks past. Schools of bait were seen yesterday on the graph in the water column but not so much on the surface, high winds could have kept the shad off the surface. With all that said, just wasn�t seeing bait or the fish stacked up as they have been in the past weeks. This makes one think that the majority of the crappie, have moved out from their previous haunts. If they did make a move which direction did they go? Looks like its going to take some more time on the water to find some fish again. Anyways I hate crappie, we fished in 13 FOW to 39 FOW and yes it was a Dog of a Day.
