First 3 pictures it looks like you are picking up schools of fish. Probably whites, could be crappie. Last picture looks like a stump, or you caught the edge of a brush pile. Not sure what to tell you on the 788.

If you are anywhere close to Lake Fork, save yourself time and aggravation and book a trip with Slade Dougherty. He will get your units tuned in and working to perfection, and show you how to run them and recognize structure, brushpiles, fish, etc.. Best money you will spend on fishing.

Hopefully some of the gurus on here will chime in later cause I'm not very good with these units. Pic 1 small school of fish (whites maybe) with a blip showing small school of bait Pic 2 larger school of fish (whites) below a school of bait (shad) Pic 3 looks like some structure on the bottom with fish stacked on top; could be crappie or whites Pic 4 maybe bait fish on the bottom or a collapsed brush pile.
I notice on pic 3 speed is 6 mph. Very seldom get a good return on SI at that speed. And the chart speed needs to match the boat speed for best return.
On the 788, I'd save any waypoints you have marked and then re-set to factory defaults. Also check your transducer cable for nicks. You may be getting electrical interference from the TM and need a ground wire. I believe there's some video on how to remedy the elec interference problem if in fact that's what's happening.

These settings will work for the 898ci SI as well.... As far as the 788 try unplugging the transducer and clean up the connection and plug it back in. You may ave a bad transducer. If it continues the same after plugging the transducer back in do a factory reset...If it continues after factory reset I would recommend a new transducer or sending it in for repair/bench testing.
