I'm sure this may have been discussed here but I've missed it. Has the river come back down to its "normal" banks yet? Anyone fished it recently??

i heard its still flowing but not NEARLY like it was DURING THE FLOODING.
the water is clear and the fish are aplenty.

I fish it just below granbury and there was no flow. I dont know that granbury is releasing very much currently.

If you want to see a really great event on the Brazos, this is William Tedrick below the Whitney dam a few days ago. Tedrick is a down-to-earth sort of aw shucks guy who shares his fishing experiences with a pretty broad audience on YouTube. Check out what happens beginning just under 7 minutes into the video. Here it comes! Really hot days create a large demand for electricity and hydroelectric power is one way to provide it! Tedric was down there taking advantage of it! Brad

Has the river come back down to its "normal" banks yet? Yes, but they like releasing every afternoon, at least below Whitney.
