So here is the deal.

I will mark fish and get into the hybrids then after about two passes I start catching catfish. I am not sure why but its like the cats are running off the hybrids. All I catch after the 1st or second pass is catfish. The water is warmer than usual and I am trolling but at the thermocline like I always do. Not sure what is up. Anyone else deal with this? I tried running shallower baits and still just catfish. Don't get me wrong I like catfish but unless its like to 28 pound yellow I caught reeling in these little guys is like reeling in a stick.

I ran into that yesterday using live shad and pet spoons. We just made the best out of it, actually caught some nice ones. Oh well, maybe catch hybrids next trip.
