We are going for a week vacation to South Padre and have never been to the gulf. Would love to fish. Any suggestions would be helpful. Any thoughts on a tackle shop nearby?

I run my boat out of a lift at pirates landing in port isabel. They have lots of great stuff. Most of the time if the guides use it they will order it in and stock it. Its a small shop but if they don't have it you don't need it.
