Headed to Sandlin Wensday, haven't been in a while and I was wondering if there is any hydrilla and maybe someone could suggest a pattern or color. I used to fish the lake a lot when I lived in Pittsburg but don't get to go much now. Any help would be appreciated.

I went 2 days this weekend it's 1st time I've got to spend anytime on sandlin since moving here. I did find a lot of hydrilla growing some out to 8-10' lots of flooded cover around. I can't help you on colors or what depth cause I fished from 1'-30' and didn't catch nothing but a fingerling on crank bait and a lot of sand bass. Good luck.

Up until a week ago (not sure about this past weekend): Shallow, shallow, and shallower.
Black frogs at the bank in holes of matted stuff.
Watermelon/Red Flake plastics with a bit of chartreuse on the tails. Green Pumpkin/Orange plastics. Punching the mats.
Traps and mid divers in chrome/blue back on the outside grass lines.
