It has been 4 months since I have seen my beloved boat on Lake Grapevine. Monday we will be reunited and hopefully come up with a bountiful harvest of Cats. BTW if any TFF'ers find some yellow juglines with Travis Hale on the tag they would be mine and were washed away from the dock during the heavy rains and flooding, lord only know where they wound up, feel free to keep and retag them I already made some new ones. I'm assuming I will have to search the Cats out as I'm not sure what major flooding will do to their patterns.

Has anyone been on Grapevine lately have any tips or areas to try? I will post a report if I can find them again. Happy fishing

TRAV YOU USING Silver Lake Ramp To LAUNCH at?

Try up by the mouth of the river on the west side of the lake. Caught alot up there last year. But I'm sure it'll be different with the lake being so full

My boat has been slipped at Scott's Landing. Until last week I didn't know Silver Lake was running a taxi service over there. I made it out to check everything out and make sure the battery wasn't dead this week. Luckily everything worked fine.

I believe the road is open and you can get to Scotts now

I scoped it out on Thursday. The road is finally open again just still have to park in the grass. lol

I am saving it for October. That is prime time for G-Vine and the ramps should be open then.

Agreed. Most of my best fish on grapevine have been in the fall. I'll probably start fishing there by mid september

That's true Im going to take advantage of less people on the water. Hopefully I will have the lake to myself in the morning. lol
