OP noobpc Outdoorsman N Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 153	Anyone have any experience fishing the banks/pier in Clear Lake? I know the water is a bit brackish, so will I encounter sheepshead, reds, drum, etc? I plan on rigging up some frozen shrimp on the bottom because I'm not sure if there are any baitshops in the area. I have almost no saltwater experience and do not know what to expect. Any tips?

There are some public piers there, its a better spot in the winter, but give it a shot. There is trout & redfish in there year round. Doubt trout will be interested in dead bait tho. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.
