headed th Lake Buchanan for first time for a week or so.Any tips or advise for Striper fishing? Any recomdations on RV parks near fishing areas???

i know...i never hear about LBJ either...i just bought a place on the nw side of Kingsland...i'm fixin' 2 hook up with a couple of my buds that r guides on Granger and we're gonna find the crappie hot spots...

post pictures of Buchanan and ur catches...mayb it'll lite a fire

I was hoping somebody would have something to say I'm thinking about heading up there to take my dad who lives in Fredericksburg. If I don't hear anything I will go up there and make a report of my own

Just seeing this. Fishing has been good and should get better as the water starts to clear up. The bite has been early early. Stay on the lower end. Early fish the sides of humps and points in the afternoon fish the tops of trees along the main channel. Starting to see some big top water action early and should just get better.
