Looks like you had a good trip! We ended our day with 24 red snapper and 1 ling in the box. Sure tasted good last night fresh off the grill. We released several barracuda and a few small snapper. We tried for some bigger shark, but were unable to find them. We had a great trip to Port A with Anderson Coastal Adventures. Will post pics when I get some time.

That looks like a blast! What stretch of beach were you on? I am headed to corpus in September and playing doing some surfing. Did you have to yak out the baits?

tell Scott he needs to smile! He is such a pud he was having a hard time holding up his fish. He is way past his football days at ACU but still tries to bask in its glory Matt.

We were in Matagorda beach across for East Matagorda bay right before the foul area but not the river side. It's a long beach drive but worth it. We were cast netting mullet and cutting their tails slightly. We waded out to the second sandbar and hurrying back. Lots of shark fins breaking in that area.My friend actually makes leaders for this and they work great. 65 lb test braided line barely got the ray in. Map of area
